Portal del Moncayo Selection Young 2014
The grapes for this wine come from our vineyards of ages between 40-50 years old, located in the foothill of the Moncayo, at an altitude of 600 meters.
Grape harvested using 15 kg crates. By selecting the vineyards with very low production and optimum maturity.
The alcoholic fermentation occurs in vats with the temperature controlled at 25 °C preserving the floral fruit of a special garnacha.
After the alcoholic fermentation we proceed to his drain off and press.
After the malolactic fermentation the wine is preserved in coated concrete vats until its bottling.
High-end wine, cherry red colour with purple tones. Intense aroma, very fruity, highlighting red fruits tones (blackberries, raspberries) and spicy notes (cinnamon, pepper, licorice), typical of a quality garnacha.
Smooth entry, sweet and complete stride, leaving good sensations in the mouth. Aftertaste long and silky, due to a perfect balance between the acidity and a round tannin.
