Román Old Vines 2010 Garnacha
The grapes for this wine come from our oldest vineyards (60-70 years old vines), located in the foothill of the Moncayo, at an altitud of 700 meters.
Grapes handpicked at dawn, using 15kg crates. By selecting the vines with the lowest production and optimum maturity.
First cold fermentation following of the alcoholic fermentation in open stainless steel vats with temperature controlled at 25 °C preserving the floral fruit of a special garnacha.
After the alcoholic fermentation we proceed to his drain off and press by hand.
Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Aging in bottle for 12 months.
Roman Old Vines is a modern and elegant wine. It expresses all the abundance of its land and the potency of a superb Garnacha. Unique, intense and complex, this wine delivers a cascade of exciting sensations.
